Rockne Hymel, III, M.D.
Dr. Victor Lin is a medical oncologist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and also provides physician leadership for the Cancer Center’s clinical research and genetics programs. Dr. Lin completed his Sc.B. in Biochemistry with honors at Brown University before training in the NIH-supported Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), receiving both an MD and a Ph.D. in Cell Biology.
Robert Gamble, M.D.
Dr. Robert Gamble is a hematologist at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and Terrebonne General Health System. He received his medical degree from Universidad Nordestana Faculty of Medicine and an internship and residency at Jamaica Hospital – New York. He then completed his fellowship at St. Luke’s Hospital – New York and St. Michael’s Medical Center. He recently retired but his passion for patients has brought him back to our facility to see patients on an as needs basis.
Jeffrey F. Rau, M.D., FACS
Dr. Jeffrey F. Rau is a plastic surgeon at Terrebonne General | Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Houma. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency in general surgery at the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans.
