Mary Bird Perkins TGMC Cancer Center is committed to helping keep our patients and community safe and healthy.
As a result, the Cancer Center currently has a Zero Visitor policy, with the only exception being for patients with cognitive impairment. Those with mobility issues will be supported by our guest services teams to ensure they are able to safely attend their appointments. We are supportive of allowing loved ones to utilize their preferred technology to provide inclusive appointments.
In order to protect the health and wellbeing of our patients and team members, anyone entering our facility will be asked to wear a face mask. Please bring yours with you when you come. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.
All patients will be screened upon entering the facility. Screening consists of several questions related to whether you or someone you’ve been in close contact with has been tested or diagnosed with COVID – 19, and a temperature check.
We ask that you please contact your physician before travelling to any of our facilities if any of the following applies to you:
- Showing symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as fever greater than 100.4º F/38º C, cough or shortness of breath.
- Have been tested for COVID-19.
- Had contact with someone who has been ill with a respiratory virus.
Please contact your physician and notify them if any of these items pertain to you.
