LSU Health Baton Rouge North Clinic

Offering state-of-the-art infusion services, the LSU Health Baton Rouge North Clinic has 15 treatment chairs and serves approximately 300 patients a month. Three medical oncologists and a nurse practitioner from the Cancer Center staff this location which is convenient to its patient population at 5439 Airline Hwy.

SERVICES OFFERED AT LSU HEALTH BATON ROUGE NORTH CLINIC :

Clinical Trials: Research is key to the future of cancer care. Clinical trials enhance standard cancer treatments, resulting in improved patient outcomes and survival rates. Every cancer center patient is evaluated for participation in a clinical trial. Those who meet the criteria to participate in clinical research receive a standard of care treatment, but with the added benefit of a trial that may enhance their outcomes. Diagnostic Imaging: Patients have easy access to efficient and convenient outpatient diagnostic services including X-rays, PET/CT scans and other lab tests. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (225) 358-4853.

Medical Oncology: Our medical oncologists specialize in diagnosing and treating cancer using chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biological therapy, and targeted therapy. They will provide supportive care and may coordinate treatment given by other specialists. Nurses that are specially trained in the needs of cancer patients will work with medical oncologists to care for you before, during and after treatment.
