Head and Neck Center
Head and neck cancers can affect the nasal passages, sinuses, mouth, throat, larynx (voice box), swallowing passages, salivary glands and thyroid gland. Skin cancers that develop on the scalp, face or neck also may be considered head and neck cancers. Doctors at The Head and Neck Center are well-renowned for their expertise in treating cancer and providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of disorders of the head and neck region.

The Voice Center evaluates and manages voice, swallowing, and airway disorders, and is a collaborative effort of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, the LSU Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the LSU Department of Communication Disorders.

At the Cancer Center, we are committed to provide our patients with comprehensive care. Our Lady of the Lake Center for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is led by facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and otolaryngologist Dr. Laura T. Hetzler and is located on the 4th floor of the Cancer Center.
