Free event to help cancer survivors move beyond cancer
(Baton Rouge, La.) Community members are invited to attend a free workshop entitled, The Hero’s Journey, a story going back thousands of years, which has served as a personal resource for transformation and spiritual growth for many people. The workshop, presented by Lucia Hamilton, Our Lady of the Lake’s director of pastoral care, is Friday, Feb. 27, 12-1 p.m. in the lecture hall of Our Lady of the Lake’s Heart & Vascular Institute.
This free event is part of Thrive, Mary Bird Perkins-Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center’s survivorship program, designed to help cancer survivors move beyond cancer to wellness.
