(Baton Rouge, La.) Danielle Mack, vice president and chief development officer, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, has been named to the board of directors of The National Association of Cancer Center Development Officers (NACCDO).
NACCDO is a cooperative venture of academically-based comprehensive, clinical, basic and consortium cancer centers that are designated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), or who have investigators that receive NCI grant funds. The network was created to share information and resources among cancer center development programs while helping advance cancer care through philanthropy. The NACCDO Board of Directors is comprised of development leaders from cancer centers across the country.
“Danielle always leads by example and her ability to inspire others by her passion to propel cancer care forward makes her a great addition on this board of directors,” said Todd Stevens, president and chief executive offer, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. “She has the natural ability to establish and build meaningful and long-lasting relationships with donors, steward donor support and manage a team of talented development professionals. I know she will represent the Cancer Center and share her experience and expertise to help advance philanthropy in cancer care throughout the country.”
Mack, a Certified Fundraising Executive, has nearly 15 years’ experience building and managing fund development, volunteer engagement and special event programs. A nearly 10-year member of Mary Bird Perkins’ development team, she has provided oversight and leadership in advancing philanthropic support throughout Southeast Louisiana and Southwest Mississippi.
