Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center Names Jodi Conachen Vice President of Marketing and Communications

 

(Baton Rouge, La.) Mary Bird Perkins – Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center has named Jodi Conachen to the role of vice president of marketing and communications where she is responsible for advancing the organization’s mission through comprehensive messaging and brand strategies.

Prior to Conachen’s new role at Mary Bird Perkins, she was senior manager of communications at Community Coffee Company where she helped increase brand awareness through key marketing efforts and influencer campaigns to drive business results. She was also instrumental in leading the communication and digital strategies for the company’s successful national expansion and the creation of engaging experiences for consumers. Conachen also previously held leadership positions at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and Woman’s Hospital.

Conachen belongs to local public relations and advertising organizations and has served on a number of boards, including in the role of president of the Louisiana Society for Hospital Marketing and Public Relations. She has also received awards for her communications work and has presented both locally and nationally on related topics.

Conachen holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and received her undergraduate degree in public relations/mass communications from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
