Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza Partners with Mary Bird Perkins

Geaux Pink this Month

(Baton Rouge, La.) Love Papa Murphy’s Pizza? Indulge your craving during October and you’ll also be helping Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center’s “Geaux Pink” initiative to fight breast cancer in our local community.

All 10 of Papa Murphy’s Baton Rouge area locations are donating 25 cents to Mary Bird Perkins for every pizza sold during October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

All stores will be decked out in pink and on Fridays the crews will sport pink shirts. In addition, “Geaux Pink” donation boxes will be at all locations for customers to personally help support the free breast cancer services Mary Bird provides to the community. All donated funds will be utilized to further breast cancer awareness through education and provide free breast screenings for the under-served in the community.

“The entire Papa Murphy’s team is committed to supporting the communities we serve and live in,” said Mark Day, general manager, Papa Murphy’s Baton Rouge. “We actively search for opportunities to give back to the people who make our business a success.”
