Cancer Center Offers Three Free Cancer Screenings in Covington

Participants can be screened for breast, colorectal and cervical cancer

 

(Covington, La.) Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is partnering with St. Tammany Cancer Center and Start Corporation to offer breast, colorectal and cervical cancer screenings at no charge on Friday, March 15. The screenings will be held by appointment at Start Community Health Center in Covington from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Breast and colorectal cancer screenings will be offered by the Cancer Center, and cervical cancer screenings will be provided by Start Corporation. All screenings are free, but appointments are required. To make an appointment, please call 888-616-4687. The Start Community Health Center is located on 1505 Florida Blvd. in Covington.
