Each year we are amazed at the organizations and individuals who come together in displays of generosity and joyous compassion to join the fight against cancer – from attending and sponsoring events to hosting their own event. Every dollar raised directly supports our patients and advances quality of care.

Hillar C. Moore, Jr. Classic

Hillar Moore Golf

Hillar C. Moore, Jr. and other community leaders founded the Mary Bird Perkins Charity Golf Classic in 1990 in Baton Rouge. Over 30 years later, the golf tournament is thriving and because of community and sponsor support, millions of dollars have been raised to support the Cancer Center. Sponsorship available.

Geaux Pink

Geaux Pink, presented by Super Chevy Dealers, is a signature fundraising program that encourages individuals, schools, restaurants, businesses, sports teams, etc. to join in the fight against cancer during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October (or anytime!) Funds raised stay local and support breast cancer patients, free breast cancer screenings, education programs and early detection initiatives.

Geaux Yoga

Geaux YogaGeaux Yoga celebrates all the brave individuals affected by cancer in our community through a fun and relaxing yoga class and a morning of comradery. After the class, enjoy entertainment, food, drinks and free cancer screenings. Sponsorship available.

The Gala

The Gala is the Cancer Center’s signature fundraising event in Houma. Each year, The Gala goes somewhere new. In 2019, The Gala went Gatsby and in 2021, The Gala went to You! This unique fundraising event gives guests and supporters a fun opportunity to support the Cancer Center.
