Living Well in Southeast Louisiana
THE DETAILS
Live Well Northshore
, hosted by
Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Covington
, and presented by the Blanchard Foundation, will take place on Oct. 3 at Covington Trailhead.
Live Well Ascension
, hosted by
Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Gonzales
, in conjunction with the Gonzales Area Foundation, will be held on Oct. 17 at Jambalaya Park.
THE SCREENINGS
Live Well events include cancer screenings for four different types of cancer, including breast, colorectal, prostate and skin. All cancer screenings offered at Live Well events are free. No insurance is required.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
While screenings are important in detecting cancer, keeping our participants and staff safe during COVID-19 is just as important. At all Mary Bird Perkins screenings, a number of practices are in place to ensure the safety of everyone, such as increased cleaning frequency and enhanced disinfecting practices for high-touch areas. Screening participants and staff are required to wear facemasks.
