Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center was created by the community, for the community. Since its beginning, generous, local supporters have been key to the Center’s growth and advancement, driven by their desire to ensure the highest quality, most comprehensive cancer care is always available to communities throughout southeast Louisiana, southwest Mississippi and beyond. We are passionate about ending this disease, and we hope you will join our efforts so that one day no one will hear the words, “You have cancer.”
Your investment will take the fight forward and have a profound impact on so many lives – both here in our community and far beyond.
Donors and volunteers make a significant and meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Whether through time, talent or financial contributions, our supporters are essential in lessening the burden of cancer for so many.
Geaux Pink is a signature fundraising program that encourages individuals, schools, businesses and sports teams to join in the fight against cancer during October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer death in women in the U.S. and you can help cancer patients with this fight! Click here for more information.
Play an active role in planning and executing one of our signature events or be a day-of volunteer. All talents, interests and time availabilities are welcome to serve on a fundraising committee for one of our signature events or host your own event to raise awareness and funds to support the fight against cancer.
Join us as a volunteer and assist with guest services, clerical support or provide that caring and compassionate “personal touch” for our patients. The services volunteers provide are an important part of what makes the patient experience so unique and meaningful at all of our cancer center locations.
