Geaux Grizzly, presented by Taylor Porter, is a signature fundraising event where nine participants step up in the fight against cancer by growing out their hair and competing for title of Grizzliest Guy. Throughout the month of November, each participant raises funds to support patient care and vital services at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.Â

Geaux Pink, presented by Super Chevy Dealers, is a signature fundraising program that encourages individuals, schools, restaurants, businesses, sports teams, etc. to join in the fight against cancer during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October (or anytime!) Funds raised stay local and support breast cancer patients, free breast cancer screenings, education programs and early detection initiatives.

Hillar C. Moore, Jr. and other community leaders founded the Mary Bird Perkins Charity Golf Classic in 1990 in Baton Rouge. Over 30 years later, the golf tournament is thriving and because of community and sponsor support, millions of dollars have been raised to support the Cancer Center. Sponsorship available.

Community Champions are organizations and foundations that primarily support Mary Bird Perkins by hosting an annual fundraising event raising $50,000 or more for the Cancer Center.
