Dr. Salman Malad is a medical oncologist at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Houma, a partnership with Terrebonne General Health System. He graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles before going on to receive his medical degree from Kigezi International School of Medicine in Cambridge, United Kingdom. Dr. Malad also finished a Master of Business Administration at Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business in New Orleans. He completed an internal medicine internship at East Tennessee State University, followed by an internal medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health at Shreveport. Dr. Malad also completed a hematology/oncology fellowship at Feist-Weiller Cancer Center at LSU Health Shreveport. He is board-certified in both internal medicine and medical oncology.
