Cancer Center’s Annual Fest for Life Event Rescheduled for May 5
(Baton Rouge, La.)Â
Due to severe weather last week, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center’s Fest for Life has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Bon Carrè Business Center, 7359 Florida Blvd. Fest for Life will offer free cancer screenings, door prizes and a children’s activity. Cancer screenings include colorectal, breast, prostate, skin and oral cavity. Blood pressure and glucose screenings will also be available. All screenings are available to those who have not been screened for cancer in the past 12 months. Appointments are required for breast cancer screenings only.
