Dr. Benjamin Barker is an internal medicine and palliative care physician based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and available for palliative care services at the Essen and Gonzales locations. He also oversees the telehealth supportive and palliative care program for patients in a rural setting, ensuring they have the same holistic access to these vital services.
Dr. Barker has extensive experience as a hospitalist for more than 15 years and was recognized as a Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine (FHM). He is board certified in internal medicine, hospice and palliative medicine and has received the Aesculapian Society Excellence in Teaching Award from Louisiana State University School of Medicine.
