Dr. Jessie Gills is a board-certified urologic oncologist at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Metairie, specializing in the treatment of cancers affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. He earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston and his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.
Dr. Gills completed his internship in General Surgery at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, followed by a residency in Urology at both Ochsner Clinic Foundation and LSU School of Medicine. He further specialized with a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Kansas University Medical Center, which is accredited by the Society of Urologic Oncology.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology, Dr. Gills is dedicated to delivering advanced, compassionate care. At Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, he collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to offer patients personalized and innovative treatment options.
