Dr. Gina Wilson is a radiologist at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Covington, Louisiana specializing in breast radiology. She earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. To further her expertise, she completed fellowships at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport.

With more than 25 years of radiology experience, Dr. Wilson has served in academic and clinical leadership roles, including Associate Professor of Radiology and Director of the Breast Imaging & Intervention Fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport. She specializes in breast imaging, vascular and interventional radiology, and women's imaging. She co-authored publications on topics such breast cancer care in low-income countries and less invasive techniques for treating breast abscesses. She has been involved in clinical trials focusing on digital tomosynthesis mammography for breast cancer screening

As a breast radiology specialist, Dr. Wilson works closely with the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center team to provide high-quality, seamless care to breast cancer patients in the region.
