When women come together, our voices are amplified and our impact is multiplied. The Echo Alliance is a collaborative group of women – with a passion for making a difference – dedicated to supporting those affected by cancer.
The Echo Alliance participants are asked to make an annual $1,000 ($83/month) tax-deductible, targeted donation to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
Members of The Echo Alliance have a say in how donations make a meaningful impact at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. When funding decisions are made, all current Echo Alliance participants have the chance to vote on the allocation of funds.
The 2023/2024 Echo Alliance project is Accelerating Cancer Care Clinical Trials in Louisiana. Funding is supporting a dedicated clinical research pharmacist, a key component to enhancing the Cancer Center’s robust clinical trials program, paving the way for future discovery and improving the quality of cancer care for patients. In 2022, The Echo Alliance’s inaugural project helped bring next generation technology to Baton Rouge and transformed how women with gynecological cancers are treated. Learn more about this initiative.
