One Community, One Goal

Message from Danielle Mack

Mary Bird Perkins continues to propel cancer care forward as we respond to COVID-19 challenges presented to us daily. Through the generosity of the communities we serve, we are able to meet the vital needs of patients and will continue delivering high-quality care in the weeks and months ahead. Your support is needed now more than ever.

At Mary Bird Perkins, we don’t just treat cancer – we treat family, friends, coworkers and neighbors. We support every need that comes with a diagnosis, providing the most compassionate and innovative care possible. And with COVID-19, cancer patients and our team members are facing unprecedented challenges in every area of their lives.

There is a greater need for resources as this crisis impacts our region. Your gift will help provide financial assistance, patient navigation, nutritional supplements, transportation support and many other much needed resources in the coming months.

And our dedicated clinical professionals who are putting everything on the line to care for patients are requiring additional resources, too. These men and women need support in ensuring their protective equipment, childcare, mental health and their own medical expense needs are met. Many are putting their lives on hold to respond to this emergency.

Please consider a gift today to make an immediate impact on how Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center can provide innovative responses as these never before seen challenges emerge. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit Cancer Services. You can help ensure every cancer patient, frontline team member and others impacted by cancer receive the unique assistance they require today. Your action today makes an impact on someone’s tomorrow.

If you wish to make a gift by check, please mail your donation to: Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, Attn: Office of Development, 4950 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
