One Community, One Goal

Hurricane Ida Relief

During the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, we are working hard to support the many patients who need to resume their cancer care as soon as possible. Additionally, we are coordinating care for our patients at appropriate facilities —whether transferring their care to the location where they evacuated or to one of our other locations that is able to open. We are also prepared to receive patients from other facilities in south Louisiana that can no longer provide treatment for their cancer patients.

Your help and support is critical during this time as we work to reestablish power, repair facilities and reconnect with our team members and patients to ensure treatment continues as quickly as possible for not only our patients, but cancer patients across the impacted area.

If you would like to support patients, their families and our team members that have been impacted by Hurricane Ida, please consider a donation to the One Community, One Goal initiative. Your contribution will provide much needed support through the recovery process in areas such as lodging, transportation, nutritional and financial assistance.

COVID-19

Thanks to generous community support toward One Community, One Goal, a campaign focused on providing relief to patients and frontline staff impacted by COVID-19, a total of $114,752 was raised. This will ensure vital services including financial assistance, nutritional support, support & survivorship resources, and transportation assistance were available to those in need. Special thanks to Lisa & Tom Adamek and Gail & Bill O’Quin for the generous $35,000 challenge grant!
