Jingya Wang, M.D. Joins Cancer Center Medical Staff
Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is pleased to announce the addition of radiation oncologist Jingya Wang, M.D. to its medical staff.

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is pleased to announce the addition of radiation oncologist Jingya Wang, M.D. to its medical staff. Dr. Wang is a summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Yale University in New Haven, Conn. She earned her Medical Doctorate degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. and most recently completed her radiation oncology residency at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Wang is fluent in both English, her native language, and Chinese. “We are extremely pleased to welcome Dr. Wang to our exceptional team of radiation oncologists,” said Linda Lee, administrator, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. “We are confident that her dedication and clinical expertise will complement our existing group of physicians as we move forward as the destination cancer center for the Gulf South.” Radiation oncology is a medical specialty using various forms of radiation in treating cancer.
