Jane Freudenberger Oncology Certified
Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at St. Tammany Parish Hospital is pleased to announce that Jane Freudenberger MSW LCSW has earned her Oncology Social Work Certification and will now add OSW-C to her professional signature. “I appreciate the support everyone has given me, and I look forward to continuing our work, together, to provide the highest quality and most compassionate care to all our cancer patients and their families,” Freudenberger said. In addition to the credentials Master of Social Work and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Oncology Social Work Certification demonstrates to accrediting organizations, cancer patients, employers and the community that certified oncology social workers comply with the highest standards to promote the provision of quality psychosocial care for those impacted by cancer. “Jane has worked hard to complete all the necessary requirements for this certification,” said Renea Duffin, member of the Cancer Center Leadership Team at MBPCC at STPH. “Along with everyone at the Cancer Center, I congratulate Jane on her great professional achievement and unceasing dedication to oncology social work.”
