Cancer Center Names New Director
Tiffany Shelton named Director of Radiation Therapy
Tiffany Shelton has been named Director of Radiation Therapy for Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Gonzales. Shelton has been a radiation therapist at Mary Bird Perkins – Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center in Baton Rouge for the past 10 years. “Tiffany brings with her a wealth of experience, dedication and leadership abilities,” said Vickie Hall, the Cancer Center’s vice president, patient care operations. “I am confident under her management and expertise, the Gonzales Center will continue flourishing and providing only the highest level of cancer care to patients.” Shelton received an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, followed by an additional year of training in Radiation Therapy at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. A native of Baton Rouge, Shelton and her husband Scott, an electrician, have a 3-year-old son
