Adams Pro Golf Tour Returns to Houma in September
2011 Mary Bird Perkins at TGMC Open

The Adams Pro Golf Tour and Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at TGMC are excited to announce the upcoming
2011 Mary Bird Perkins at TGMC Open
. The professional tournament takes place September 28 – October 1 at Ellendale Country Club in Houma. The week’s festivities begin with a celebration Monday, September 26 called “The Taste of the Tournament Par-Tee and Auction.” Held at the Ellendale Country Club, there will be food samplings of award winning local cuisine, libations, music and a silent auction to get everyone into the swing of things. The Pro-Am takes place Tuesday, September 27, at Ellendale and is a four-man shamble format with three amateur golfers and an Adams Tour pro per team. Wednesday, September 28 through Saturday, October 1 is the Mary Bird Perkins at TGMC Open professional tournament at Ellendale Country Club featuring Adams Pro Golf Tour Series players. A free junior clinic for kids ages 6-16 interested in golf will be conducted Thursday, September 29 in association with Adams Pro Golf Tour Series professionals.
