Natchez, Miss. – Jessie Knapp has been named clinic manager at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Natchez. In this role, Knapp is responsible for the operations and administration of the Cancer Center, ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly so patients can focus on healing and team members can focus on patient care.
Knapp, a Business Administration graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, has extensive healthcare experience, most recently as office manager of Encompass Health in Vidalia, Louisiana.
“A well-managed office is key to achieving our goal of providing patients with the best possible experience,” said Gregory W. Cotter, M.D., FACRO, radiation oncologist at the Cancer Center. “We are thrilled to welcome Jessie to our team and are confident her skills and experience will complement the high-quality care we offer.”
Earlier this year, Caring River Cancer Center (CRCC) merged with Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center (MBPCC), a comprehensive cancer care organization that has served the Gulf South region for almost 50 years. All patients are continuing to receive care from the facility’s experienced staff members, and the Cancer Center is currently accepting new patients.
