Rebecca Davis, MD, joins Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center

BATON ROUGE, La. – Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is pleased to announce that Rebecca Davis, MD, has joined the Cancer Center as its newest medical oncologist.

Rebecca Davis, MDDavis is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. She obtained her bachelor’s degree at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, and her medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. She completed a residency and internship in internal medicine at LSU’s Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge, and a fellowship in hematology-oncology at LSUHSC – Shreveport.

Davis is a Louisiana native who grew up in Baton Rouge. She has worked at various healthcare locations throughout the state.

We’re looking forward to seeing her provide the most advanced care to our patients.”

Davis will work at Mary Bird Perkins’ Baton Rouge General and Gonzales locations.
