What should I expect on my first day of chemotherapy?

On your first day, you’ll complete lab work, meet with a doctor to review results and then begin your infusion. This will typically take between 1-5 hours. We provide snacks, drinks, reclining chairs and warm blankets. One guest at a time may accompany you; if they need to step out, another guest may swap in.

How much will my cancer treatment cost? Are payment plans available?

How do I refill medications or discuss symptoms?

Call your location’s main line and ask to speak with the triage nurse. Or visit Mary Bird Perkins’ Navigating Care portal and view the “Quick Actions” section to refill or ask questions. For emergencies, dial 911.
