Terrebonne General | Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is proud to announce the completion of a significant $4 million renovation and expansion of its facility in Houma. This project has modernized building systems, expanded radiation technology and increased the facility by over 15,336 square feet to better serve the Bayou Region. Key additions include an expanded infusion suite, a gym for cancer patients needing physical rehabilitation or exercise programs, a dedicated wig boutique and a tranquil meditation room for reflection. These enhancements, along with other upgraded patient services, are designed to provide even more state-of-the-art cancer care in a calming and supportive environment.
