Created by Women • Led by Women • For Women
As drivers of change and innovation, decision makers, communicators and leaders, women know firsthand how to make a meaningful impact.
When women come together, our voices are amplified and our impact is multiplied. The Echo Alliance is a collaborative group of women – with a passion for making a difference – dedicated to supporting those affected by cancer.
The Echo Alliance participants are asked to make an annual $1,000 tax-deductible targeted donation to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
Members of The Echo Alliance have a say in how donations make a meaningful impact at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. When funding decisions are made, all current Echo Alliance participants have the chance to vote on the allocation of funds.
Continuing to move the needle in cancer care, the Echo Alliance’s 2026 project is the “Mind & Body Support Fund: Whole-person care beyond the Cancer Center”
The Mind & Body Support Fund will expand access to mental health, nutrition, and caregiver support services so cancer patients can better navigate treatment, improve quality of life, and receive truly whole-person care.
With the goal of advancing survivorship care, in 2025 The Echo Alliance launched its inaugural funding initiative, Healing Forward: A Vision for Survivorship Care—a comprehensive program designed to meet survivors where they are and support them as they heal forward, is helping to close a long-standing gap in cancer care and laying the foundation for a scalable model that will serve thousands of patients for years to come.
A new project will be voted on in Spring 2027 and all active members are eligible to participate.

“What makes the Echo Alliance so special is that it consists of more than 150 women dedicated to making a measurable difference in the lives of patients at Mary Bird Perkins. I have lost many close family members to cancer, so it is extremely important to me to align myself with an organization and mission that helps lessen the burden for those fighting this disease today."
