Jarmeca Berry is a Breast Surgery Nurse Practitioner at Mary Bird Perkins Breast Surgery in Baton Rouge. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from Southern University A&M College. Jarmeca has been an Advanced Practice Provider since 2008. She specializes in providing and managing care for patients with breast diseases and breast cancer, including assisting in surgery, preoperative and postoperative management, patient and family education, providing surveillance and prevention for individuals at increased risk of breast cancer. Jarmeca is very passionate about preventive and risk reducing measuring to prevent breast cancer.
In her free time, Jarmeca enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, going to church, traveling, and shopping.
